I need 4 x 4m lengths of cable and don't really want to spend £200 on QED which is what I use in my living room. Would rather spend about £80. Any ideas? They will be partnered with Proac Tablette 8 Signatures. Before you ask I know I should spend more but is there anything decent at this lesser price?

I'd go for the thicker 6mm unbranded stuff, also on Ebay. Just over £2 a metre on a 20 metre reel yet bound to outperform any 2.5mm effort by miles. You always pay a premium for big names.
there is a guy on e bay selling qed xtube 350 off the reel at £5 off the rrp per metre.He is doing it for a tenner a metre so you could get 8 metres for £80. bargain.Its an excellent cable. he also does xtube 400 for £15 a metre instead of £20 p/m.
just re read your post? did you mean 16 metres in total? In that case you could try dnm reson mark 2. Its very good. Goes well with arcam stuff too. you can get it online at £6 p/m.rrp is £7.95 p/m. which qed do you currently use? Are you looking for cable that normally retails for about £15 p/m?
