Speaker cable to stop bass degradation in cable to replace subwoofer? (Proac Tablette 8 Signature)

I have recently gone a bit mad and have upgraded all my equipment. Wanting a bargain, I have bought second hand throughout and have pieced my system together using forums, such as this one, and various reviews. I currently have:

FMJ A32 Amplifier

CD73 CD Player

Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signatures Speakers on Partington Broadsides (sand filled)

Merlin Chopin Interconnect (Chord Chorus 2 on the way)

Silver Anniversary XT speaker cable

Rel Q150e Subwoofer

Would different speaker cable give me something more from the components I have? I like bass and, whilst I know that the Proacs are a little bass shy, would new speaker cable give me the bass I want, or will the extra cone movement upset the midrange?

Or should I stick to the sub/sat combination?

If so, what cable do you recommend?  And I hope to buy second hand! (£100 for 2x4m runs).

Many Thanks

PS, the music I like is GOOD MUSIC (but thats a personal opinion). Room is 3x5m

I guess I'm after a cable that offers good midrange and treble qualities.

Thanks all!ÿ
