Well, I'm not a happy bunny. Installed the latest firmware for the Pioneer a few months ago and all was well until tonight when I wanted to watch my first DVD (not blu ray) since the update. I now get 'mode not supported' on my tv. Tried a few other DVDs which I know worked before the update and still the same error. Then I hooked my player up to my Sony tv in the kitchen and no problems with watching DVDs so it looks like with the new firmware my Samsung is redundant!!!
Any ideas guys?
I don't know if you can revert back to the previous firmware version prior to the update but I threw the old update disc away (as you do) and the website only has the newest firmware.
