New to the forum, so apologies if this is been asked before. I bought a Samsung HW-K950 with 2 R1 rear speakers about 7 years ago, along with a Samsung TV which all worked well together, using the multiroom app. The TV gave up a few months ago so have purchased a new Samsung TV QE65Q70DATXXH, which is great. However, I cannot get the surround sound to work at all. I have grouped the soundbar and rears together in the app which appears to work, but as soon as the TV powers on, they ungroup and the sound only comes from the soundbar. I suspect that the new TV is not compatible with the multiroom app, but cannot get any sense out of Samsung. Any ideas?
I have updated all software/firmware, I have tried connecting the bar by HDMI and WiFi, but does not make a difference. The R1's are wireless.
The strange thing is both R1's and the bar appear under the list of speakers on the TV, and all play individually if selected. But not together. If I play Spotify through my phone via Bluetooth, all speakers work together
