Rotel 965BX-good enough

Hi I have just purchased CA Azur 540A V2, DAC Magic & MS 902i mainly for music stored in Apple Lossless on PC. I do want option for CD playing and have an old Rotel 965BX. Is this any use or should I look to upgrade to new budget machine like the Azur340C ?

If your main source is going to be PC I would not upgrade your Rotel CD player - a great machine.

You could try it direct into your amp or through your DAC to see what the difference is.
