I do love her, but she was a nightmare last Xmas. They used to have big family get-togethers, but as dad's got less able mentally and physically it's ended up just being me, Mrs 12th and our daughter the last two years. This means I've spent almost all of the last two Christmas mornings cooking, and last year she'd got a bag on and barely spoke until the desserts were served. When she moved from front room to dining room, you could feel the temperature drop by 10°. Mrs 12th tells me we're not babysitting them this coming Christmas, which is music to my ears.Les Dawson lives on.
To be fair, it seems clear why you didn't make more effort, she does sound like an old bag.
Good luck at Christmas....all sitting there in your party hats.
I do loads for them, and Mrs 12th massive amounts. But hey, it seems OK in some quarters (i.e. not you!) to judge me because I didn't telepathically understand I was supposed to do more than she was asking this time...
