Naim Involvement

I have asked Naim to get involved with my issue with their forum administrator Richard Dane as I strongly believe that Richard Dane has a problem with female posters

Richard has picked on me no end of times and began vetting every post I made on the Naim forum

I have 35+ years of building great sounding systems and I have a lot to offer other posters on the Naim forum but Richard Dane did not allow me to have my say without vetting all my posts

Richard Dane should be ashamed of himself for picking on me and the only reason I can come up with is that I’m a rare female poster and he just couldn’t handle that because he has an old school viewpoint

I have contacted Naim to sort out Richard Dane for being so blatantly against female posters when all I have ever done is try to help out posters with less experience than myself

If this is not sorted out by Naim I can assure them that I will expose their anti female views…. I have a lot to offer people on the Naim forum but Richard Dane has stopped me from doing that

Shame on Richard Dane and shame on Naim for allowing their forum moderator to treat me so badly just because I’m female…. bad show on Naim for allowing people like Richard Dane to have complete control over a forum, which is male dominated, to pick on me because I’m female

I think Richard Dane, and therefore Naim, has an issue with female posters on their forum…. I have never posted anything that contravenes the forum rules but I have consistently been told that I have done so and my posts have been vetted by the moderator Richard Dane and eventually Richard Dane (and Naim) banned me

Very bad show by Naim allowing their forum moderator to ban me for being female… they are so very out of touch with the real world

I think you did the right think. I am no Naim lover but I respect them. After this publishing either Richard himself or Naim theirself will react. If you like Naim products, hope you will not start to hate them. Hope to read next time something more positive from you.

I have a wonderful XS3 amplifier that I love

I have owned many Naim items in the past 30 years but I’m absolutely loving my XS3 amplifier

The XS3 is just so musical in the best Naim way together with my new ATC 19’s

The source is a Cambridge Audio MXN10 streamer…. I know that this system should not work together….however it just does

The biggest improvement was the ATC 19’s… they are simply magical sounding speakers… never have I heard such amazing sounding speakers over the last 35+ years…

Ok I’ve owned speakers in the past that may have sound better with certain types of music and SET amps but overall the ATC’s being fed by my XS3 are just incredible sounding

So my magical sound is coming from the following: MXN10 streamer via Naim RCA to DIN cable to XS3 amplifier out via NACA5 speaker cable to the ATC 19 speakers

Why exactly do you need that forum??
As I previously stated I very much doubt Naim as a company have anything to do with said forum.
Anyway, two threads on here banging on about the same issue is likely to get looked into.

When you run a group or forum using a manufacturer's name, you're essentially representing them, so you have to be extra careful how you run it in order to not end up losing the brand business or negatively affecting their image. You can't be "you". If it gets to that point, I think a manufacturer has a right to step in. An overseas brand recently ordered a U.K. retailer to close a group they were running that was using their name, as that retailer had lost the brand due to extremely poor installations, and general behaviour that was dragging the brand down.
