Thank you for your contribution Mr Reid 👍Isn't droning on about 'virtue-signalling' and 'wokeness' are generally signalling different perceived virtues to to your own group, maybe just a with bit more anger.
So, off you pop, to room 101.
I really try not to DaveFrankly, in 2024 if you're still subjecting yourself to adverts then you're a dinosaur (at least technologically speaking)
Well I pay a licence fee.As an aside, if you're too cheap to pay for content then don't moan about adverts... It has to be funded somehow!
That is also personal - I don't want to intervene but will do if it continues. It seems that you might be one of the ones that I was 'droning on about'.
😆Beckham really is a ponce.
That's dreadful. It's not as though they'd have done so because they 'needed' it...Who ever it was (can you believe?) that stole the defibrillator off the outside wall of my local library!
Cretins and custards!Who ever it was (can you believe?) that stole the defibrillator off the outside wall of my local library!
Well-to-do looking bloke in the Co-op in my dad's village. Every few weeks there's a Big Issue seller there - very quiet and friendly, scarcely audible if truth be told. I know BI sellers make a lot of people uncomfortable, self included - I think with me it's the knowledge that I have less need for what I am usually buying than they do for a few quid. But hey ho - like I say she's quiet and friendly.
This chap follows me into the Co-op, and I move my trolley out of the way so I can seek to satisfy my father's seemingly insatiable appetite for bananas, and he collars a member of staff to insist that they tell the BI seller to get lost. All the time blocking the aisle so I can't get by, so I end up giving him a gentle nudge in the end.
Gave the seller a few quid and told her that not everyone is like that.
I want to hope that he doesn't...He'll find out eventually.
I've always found this interesting:Intelligence/intellect
Which does make you wonder why, there seem to be more stupid people about these days.
'He who knows least knows it loudest', maybe?Which does make you wonder why, there seem to be more stupid people about these days.
Perhaps there are just more ways for them to demonstrate that stupidity, especially on (anti)social media.
In a similar vein, those with the worst taste in music play their car stereo the loudest!'He who knows least knows it loudest', maybe?

But Long Covid is well known, hopefully not what you've got.Post-Covid fatigue.
I had no idea this was a thing.

I saw this article in today's BBC web news:
Covid: Is there a summer wave and what are FLiRT variants?
Lots of people seem to have Covid at the moment but what is behind it and is it serious?www.bbc.co.uk
