Relative cost of speaker cable.

I'm currently using chord carnival silver screen with B&W 685's run through Marrantz 6003 cd and amp. Can anyone tell me if it's worth upgrading my speaker cable to somthing a bit pricier ie atlas hyper 2.0 or will the quality of the pricier cable be a bit of a false econnomy in that it will highlight the systems faults?

Your cables sound about right for your system so unless you find them too bright I wouldn't change them yet.

Better speakers will highlight the weaknesses of your system. A better source would show how could your speakers could be.

Changing the speaker cable is a tweak when you are happy with the rest of your system.
