Rega RP3 and Goldring 2300

I would like to buy Goldring 2300 for my Rega RP3. I have Elys 2.

Do I need to change the height of the tonearm?

Is there any other catridge beside Rega which I could put it on without changing the height of the tonarm?

you dont have to use a spacer - but the tonearm wont be level - this may affet the presentation

however all non - rega carts require a 2mm to get the arm level

So yes, most non Rega cartridges require a spacer. They are cheap and it is an idea to get one as it gives you more choice. To double check measure the depth of your Elys2 then compare this to height of potential replacement.
