Primare repair / service required

Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my Primare D30.2 CD player serviced.

I'm in Northants UK, is this something that i can get done locally or only by Primare themselves.

Really depends on what the nature of the problem is? If is just 'skipping' then phone round the local hi-fi shops and ask if they can recommend a decent repair technician.

And if it's just skipping I'd start with a CD cleaning disc.

This sort of gear should have pretty long guarantee's (from dealer and manufacturer).

Thanks guys for the advice, problem is it's skipping abit on only a couple of discs.

Not always in the same places, tested the discs in other players and they are fine.

I'll go for the lens cleaning disc option first, £4 quid from Maplins to see if that sorts it.
