I'm not quite sure what you're suggesting about me when you say 'the likes of me'. I'm guessing you're not being complimentary. But sticking to the point, you suggest there are people with infallible hearing?

Of course not, there are certainly people with infallible hearing. The only people who seem to have a notion of infallibity are those that denounce cables for being pseudoscience.

Sorry, I meant fallible hearing, and that I do agree with you that people can sometimes be fooled by their hearing. But I just take offence when anybody who hears something that does not conform with your scientific belief, they are labeled as having being fooled.
