I have heard so many mixed reports now I don't know what to think. Tried calling Optimum who told me it was 70KG, but then I read on many websites it's 75kg per shelf. Or 100 - 120kg overall. Any ideas? Cheers.

find out how much each piece weighs then add it up, your amp will probably be the heaviest.
100kg sounds about right for a guess total amount that it can handle but in reality your equipment will only come in at just over a quarter of that.

update: just found a website saying that each 10mm shelf will take 75kg, so times three is 225kg your floor (if its wooden) will give way long before you break a shelf.

Yep, I found that one too! That surely can't be right, can it? Others say 100 kg in total.macdiddy said:
