Hi all

I'm thinking of getting a quadraspire qk, steel and glass racks don't pass muster at home.

http://www.quadraspire.co.uk/product_range/qk/page2/index.html

An open rack also seems like a bad idea with a three year old and a 6 month old

Any opinions on this rack, it is the one with the glass shelves and door.

I'm not expecting sonic marvels, but any negative opinions would be good.

I have a Quadraspire AV rack for my Hifi with wooden shelves and find it excellent - well made and very stable.Don't like glass shelves with digital as it produces a hard sound that makes long term listening uncomfortable but I don't have a problem with little fingers furtling around so you may have to go with it for a while!!

Thanks caddyhound

With two of them we are hoping we can leave them to play on their own (next room) some of the time, so closing the hifi out of range makes sense.

Needs to be about 80cm wide to fit, hence the smaller hifi one is the one for me I think, plus my wife likes the look of them

missed the one on ebay, went for 265 in the end.

Bought a tide us over Jual jf005 in silver, will get something pretty in wood after we move.

the space beside the fireplace is only 900mm wide, and many racks are 1100, so the choice is quite limited.

thanks
