I recently purchased this on e-bay for £38.00. It is in mint condition, comes with a remote and has a beautiful sound. It must be about 15 years old, I would guess.

Anyone else had this cd player? Any idea where I can source a review of this? Tried Google without much luck.

Thanks.

micromegas are one of the best looking machines of their time.

I used to have the next model up - the Leader. Very fine machine, great rhythm and timing and soundstage. The Logic was very well regarded as well. Both were based on an old Phillips CD350 I believe, but with Micromega's upgrade.

Sorry for resurrecting a dead thread, but you are mistaken. The CD 350 was a Multibit machine from the late 1980s. The Leader was very likely based on one of the Midrange 1Bit players of the early 1990s, such as the CD615, CD624 or the CD634. The latter is the most likely base model…

You're saying someone is wrong after 15 years and that person isn't a member of the forum anymore??
