In a drunken stupor last night, I bid on and won a 'Van Den Hul' Thunderline interconnect. Cost me bloody £85. Is it any good? I've had no experience of the brand.

Van Den Hul are generally considered pretty good yes, their flat HDMI cable is the current WHF award winner for example.

The Thunderline is a terrific interconnect replaced by The Ultimate I think. Will need a good system to get the best from it though a bargain at £85 none the less.

It looks as though £85 is pretty much the going rate, so no bargain, but you haven't been ripped off either, as people generally rate it as quite a good cable...

You must have been pretty wasted to unintentionally blow £85 on an interconnect though. I usually just download a few one hit wonders or order a plug of some description I'll never use.
