i have just bought a samsung 50"plasma and would be grateful for some tips to get the best out of my tv ,im not to clued up on the business of the settings ie brightness ,contrast etc so any info would be much appreciated the model is the ps50q96hdx

Go to Televisions at the top of the page. Type 'digital video essentials'. Click on 'How to......boost your TVs performance' then you may need to scroll down a little to read the article which may help you. Sorry, I don't know how to hyper-link you directly to it.

As a tip for the future, type your TVs name and model No. in the subject question (if your question is about your tv, obviously). Readers who may own that, or a similar model, are more likely to respond.
