Help needed for buying a TV

Haven't bought a new TV in 11 years so need help on deciding on what TV to get. Last TV I bought was a Panasonic Vt50 plasma, which is still going strong and been brilliant.

Just extended the kitchen diner and we now have room for a big TV.

Have a budget of £1400 and looking for something around 70" to 77" big. Would love an oled but that's out of our price range.

Room is north facing but has a patio doors and skylight near it. We're not gamers but do have a nintendo switch for the kids and would mostly be using it to watch Disney and sky movies.

Any advice and recommendations would be greatly, thanks.

Not sure if this helps, but after a bit of negotiation we can probably stretch the budget to £1700. A sound bar can wait a few months 😂

There are usually deals for TV + soundbar as a package.

Just checked my work discount and can get a LG 75QNED86 which is normally about £1799 but with work discount it could be as low as £1450.
Any opinions about this?
