New amp for MA BX6

Hi my brother has just bought some MA BX6 floorstanders, BX2 surrounds and the BX centre and sub he's currently using an onkyo 606. He's now seen a Pioneer VSX1020 for £400 but is there anything better suited for his speakers such as say the Yamaha 667, the Onkyo 608 or something else for similar money ? Cheers

Then I suggest keeping the Onk 606 and save up for something that would offer a better upgrade.....

Like the Pioneer VSX2020, Denon 2311, Onk 808 or Yamaha 1067.......

I've seen the Denon 2311 going for around £480 so he wouldn't have to put that much towards it! Couldn't comment on quality as I'm a bit of a novice.

On second thoughts, can't find a company address on that site anywhere, so may be a bit dodgy. There are plenty of other places that have it for £500 though.
