Hi

I'm new to this so excuse any stupid questions.

Just got a network media player and want to use the music server part of it to play my music.

I have managed to connect it to my PC and stream music from my PC. however to do this I have to have the PC always on.

Am I correct if I get a NAS with DLNA I can connect it to the network and hence my network media player without having the need for the PC to be on?

I.e just the media player, network router and NAS switched on

Thanks for any advice
