looking for high res audio headphones with decent bass sub £250 price range

I recently got a pair of B&O play H3 earphones but also have a pair of skullcandy crushers.

The H3's have better clarity but compared to the crushers the bass is non existent

Ideally I'd like something that combines the clarity of the H3's along with the ear shattering bass of the crushers.

I'll be using them with the LG G5 and the lg hifi plus dac when it eventually comes out

It's my first foray into the high res headphone market so not sure what i should be expecting from them.

would prefer over ears but deffinately want to avoid in ears.

ideally I'd like to spend £250 max but can possibly go slightly higher at a push

The skullcandy crushers incorporate bass boost, plus a subwoofer, to artificially boost the bass levels, so it is not surprising that the B&O play H3 sound bass light in comparison.

I suspect that any pair of headphones that try and produce a natural bass sound, will seem insubstantial to you.

However, if you like the B&O clarity, there is a good deal (199 euros) on the play H6, if you buy them from germany.

Or you could try beyer 770 Pros, which according to one of the reviews, beat the skullcandies, plus they are only £101.

I have the 250 ohm model, and it certainly handles the bass notes that are common in jazz recordings - but maybe you want even more bass.
