Hi,

I have read that when connecting two speakers to a receiver, one cable has to be minimum half the lenght of the other cable. Is this correct? I want to connect a B&O Beocenter with two Redline 60.2 with Chord carnival silverscreen speakercable. One length is 5 meter, the other is 20 meter.

Just cut to length, using good quality connections, it will sound good.

You won't find any difference worth talking about.

Previous threads on here have recomended the same length for each pair of speakers for timing purposes. If one is longer than the other then you loop rather than coil the excess (to avoid interference).

How you can legitamise the expense to coil up this ammount of good quality cable is a different matter though

There has been further discussion that it makes no difference. Do not worry about this,
