Hello,

I am seeking a small piece of kit to play music from my ipod and laptop from, that costs c£100. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Klipsch iGroove or the Harman Kardon Soudsticks II.

WHF give the Klipsch a 5/5 rating, and reviewers on a certain e-retail site absolutely rave about it. But the Soundsticks don't seem to have a WHF review, although they too are very popular on the other site. To make things worse I am nowhere near one of the four retailers that sells the Klipsch so I can't audition them. I've heard the Soundsticks at a friend's, and they sound ok, but the bass seems a bit "rough" when played loud.

Has anyone had a chance to audition both? Or would you suggest something else?

Many thanks in advance,

James

I have an iGroove and am impressed by the sound quality for such a compact unit, good bass and goes pretty loud without distortion.I haven`t heard the Soundsticks so can`t comment on it.The iGroove can be had from Amazon at just under £100.
