i have a kenwood hi fi system had it about 14yrs now and it stil kicks out a good sound, but i have problem. the graphic isn't liting up anymore but it still works.has anybody got any solutions to the problem, it did go out once before but it came back on but this time its gone out and stayed like that.

Consign it to the bin where it belongs

It's probably just a broken bulb or a failed solder joint in the circuit supplying illumination to the display, either of which should be relatively simple for a competent engineer to fix.

However, the cost of finding and curing the problem is likely to be much more than the unit is worth.
