Is bi-amping the solution?

Hi all

My current system consists of the following:

Arcam CD73

Rotel RA-03

Monitor Audio GR-10

I tend to listen at fairly high levels and the amp runs hot and then cuts out after 40mins or so. I've been offered a RB-03 at a good price and was wondering if bi-amping would solve this problem. Has anyone had experience with this Rotel issue?

How long did you have an amp? and do you have this problem from start? I heard some complain about the Rotel is getting hot far too quickly. I can't answer your question about Bi-amp would sought out this problem, however, in gernal it will add control over your speakers (they are relatively easy to drive anyway)

I found this amp at a very low price and he will also take your Rotel in as a part exchange....the improvment in sound would be more than £500 worth!

The RA03 is integrated yes?

I'm guessing the RB is a power amp... is there not a corresponding pre-amp in the rotel line also? worth looking into IMHO...
