info needed for hi res digital out

why can i not get my blu ray audio only disc to output at 96khz into my dacmagic i use coax to dac
it signals 48khz on dac,
but when i play my neil young dvd prairie wind it outputs full 96khz is there any way i can
get full 96khz from blu ray digital out direct to dacmagic.

baltimore symphony orchestra marin alsop it is 24bit,88.2/96khz blu ray audio disc stereo and surround,
i have two other blu ray audio discs on there way by post tom pettys blu ray discs and i am hopeing to listen in
96khz direct to dac from blu ray player digital out,
i am useing samsung bd 1400 and samsung 3d blu ray player and tried panasonic bd 35 player the 3d samsung and pana
only have optical outs,, the samsung 1400 has coax and opt outs so is there any reason i cant get full 96khz from digital outs

i can now get ki res digital out on spdif coax and optical outs, via a hdmi audio extractor
now my blu ray audio discs sound awesome at there highest bit rates,now i am waitinng pateintly for bob marley legend blu ray audio disc

so what do you fhink of blu ray audio disc as a format.
