the last photo is the forst shot that dont look right - maybe its compressed sky , maybe it is gels camera.

maybe I was wrong all along... the others look good though a couple in particular. wish they were closer shots hint hint

Phone cameras aren't good at showing blacks properly. Their sensors are too small, and the camera compensates for the lighter background. Paul is correct in his explanation about why it's impossible to comment on TV picture quality based on photographs.

That one was a zoom in from a long distance on Sky!

When there's a lot of black, the camera will try to overexpose whites, and when there's lot of white, the camera will underexpose blacks.

I believe Gel uses an iPad camera, (probably the one on his iPad Pro), but I guess your point still stands.

I find it very hard to get an impression of his TV from the squashed photos on this forum, I would prefer if he uploaded some pics to Flickr or another similar website and then posted a link.

Yep, they look much better on Flickr on even my iPad Pro.

have a look at the sticky for uploading photos to the forum, you can make your photos clickable so they go full screen in Flickr 🙂

I can't quite work out if my TV is really really good or not so good? It looks a lot different to the LG ones I am used too?

Gel mate that TV is really good and I dare say setup properly. You have probably got used to looking at in correctly.

Its an LG panel for starters how can it be that much different

it just seems a lot different. Perhaps it's the size? Everyone who sees it says it's amazing though, I think it's taking a while for me to get used to it though. LG's do seem to be not so good at being setup though.
