Gel i hope you didn't struggle to get the beast out the top of the box, their are plastic pieces at the bottom of the box, four in total just remove them an lift the box off the tv.

some good pics if you have the discs miht be the opening sequence of Bladerunner or the section in China Town, also the Skyfall section in Honk Kong (i think its here anyway)

If you have Underworld the firts sceen would be good as well before she jumps to the floor!

Transformers will probably be good for Colours and the opening sequence of the Dark Knight shuld show some fantastic colour
I will see what I can do.

You have def had a shocker taking the TV out - great shout from someone.

You would have thought the amount you have owned you would have worked that one out... :)

1080p picture has 4 times less pixels than a 4K screen.

Upscaling simply means that the TV will multiply the pixels 4 times through a complex algorithm so that it can fill all its 4K pixels by the 1080p picture. Upscaling does not mean quality will improve. It's simply scaling the picture up. Hope this is clear.
Cheers mate!

back when gel has his 1080p oled lots of people were saying what's the point of taking photos and uploading here as the true quality can't be seen. so why are people asking now?? the tv will look nearly identical to gel's old 1080p tv. as he is using the same device to take the photos, and the photos aren't very good at that. the photos of my "sub standard" js8500 (compared to gel's tv) look better. just imagine what photos we could see if gel took photos off a better device!

thats interesting then because they are all moaning on AVF about how bad sky is on the lg950 oleds. Sounds like they need calibrating to get the best out of them, as yours is ... :)

Nugget your photos dont look anywhere near as good mate sorry to say and the TV wont be either.

Yes the camera can add to the picture, my phone does a bit but it can only photograph whats there.

I could tell seeing gels LG pictures it needed calibrating it was obvious to me, everyone blamed the camera now seeing these you can clearly see there is nothing wrong with the camera he was using.

PS from what I have seen of Sky its mostly very average
