Is the player def outputting 4k 10bit? - there must be a button called "info" or similar on the tv remote that will bring up all the details bit rates, data rates, sound format etc?

Quick glance and the instructions - there is an i button above and left of the OK left right up down buttons that you use to navigate menus and select things.

Yep, doesn't do anything neither does any of the other buttons. Bountimous on AVForums is saying it's terrible too on the Panasonic OLED thread.

as a samsung player owner. there is no info which infuriates me. on my old "cheap" £100 sony it had audio data rates, video data rates. this one has neither! just the film time. very basic.

I'm confused as well. He said he'd sold the Pansonic OLED TV via eBay with collection due this weekend, but now it's up for sale again on eBay and AVForums.

Maybe - with a day to go - he's trying to get a higher price from ebay than the private buyer has offered. Maybe the buyer has backed away.

Still got the buyer, he has just delayed a week and don't know if I can trust him, he won't pay a deposit either.

You can turn HDR off and on via the TV remote.

The difficulty that gel will have is that he is asking £5,500 for his Panasonic OLED on AVForums. That's a fair price I think, but it is £500 more than a gleaming new flat 65" E6 OLED will cost. And it's more than £2,000 more than a £3,299 gleaming new Panasonic 65DX902, which I saw in John Lewis last weekend and which looked fantastic. There's also the new Samsung KS9500 and KS9000 series (and last year's flagship Samsung 65JS9500 is now only £3,199, barely half its original price of six grand), the new Sony 65XD9305 which costs only £2,799 and has been excellently previewed, or going ten iches bigger to the flagship Sony 75XD9405 (my own personal dream machine) at £4,999. Yes, none of these alternatives that I mention, apart from the LG E6, can quite match the blackness of Panasonic's OLED, but black level, though important, isn't the only picture criterion and all of these are cheaper than the reasonable price that gel is asking for his reference quality Panasonic OLED, and most of them are flat. Now that gel has decided to sell his Panasonic OLED, I do hope that he does, but he may struggle.

The Panasonic OLED is indeed a connoisseur set, in October last year all the reviewers said that it was the best domestic television that they had ever seen. Since gel has decided that he just doesn't like it, I do hope that he manages to sell it, but any potential buyer is not short of excellent alternative televisions.

Ah, but you're the one with the projector, the high-grade Monitor Audio surround-sound system and two top SVS subwoofers! I have also two SVS subwoofers, but the second one is only a PS12-Plus!

Presumably someone other than gel can offer an opinion? The LG 65EF950V is very good and has OLED blacks, but it does have some screen uniformity issues. If I were looking for a 4K 65" screen right now, I'd go for the Panasonic 65DX902. Read this https://www.avforums.com/review/panasonic-dx902-tx-65dx902b-uhd-4k-tv-review.12385

I only have 1 system you have several and about 50 Plasma TV's dude - imagine if all that money was spent on just 1 system you could have 2 SVS in it as well :)

The SVS are not expensive subs by measure of their peers and with the exception of the PJ, cables and acoutic treatment I have bought everything else at significantly reduced prices - I call it boxing clever
