[King Goal]

My TV is connected to my new V+ HD box via HDMI and when I switch it on, the top left hand corner shows:

HDMI2 1920 x 1080i @ 50Hz

Can anyone explain this to me please as my TV is 200Hz Full HD 1080p.........

The V+ HD box only outputs 1080i resolution, not 1080p, at 50Hz scan rate. That's what the TV is indicating.

The 50Hz scan rate and the 200Hz processing in your TV are two completely different things.
