Help setting weight on new cartridge

Hi, I recently replaced my old cartridge on my Technics SLD202 turntable with a Altai HL-HM160. This cartridge did not come with a manual - does anybody know how I can find out the correct weight to set the tone arm and anti-skating to?

A quick search also brought up the Soundlab HL-HM160 cartridge and headshell unit, remarkably similar to the Altai, and on the Musonic site it give specs. they also have an ID helpline.

If you only have the cartridge, rather than an assembly, perhaps you could start at 1.5g, then work up, or down, until it tracks properly/to yoursatisfaction?

Start a bit further up, the recommended tracking force, as far as I can see, is 3 grams.
