HELP: REMOTE CONTROL SOLUTIONS

Hi Guys,

I have just set up my new TV (Sony Bravia KDL46W5810) with a Vogel bracket on the wall in my living room and have my CD,DVD,PS3 etc underneath the staircase. I can change the channels on my sky with the help of a magic eye but however cannot control the other pieces of equipment without going underneath the stairs. Can you please advice what equipment I will need in order to control all pieces of kit without having to gain get my backside off the sofa everytime?!!!

Hi,

Have you tried children?? They're great for a multitude of tiresome acts - doing dishes, changing channels, going to shop...lol.

Downside is sticky fingerprints, scratched CD/BD's and nappies.

There are devices about that work in a similar fashion to your magic eye. Can't remember who makes them tho...will post back if I remember.

If you check my Home Cinema system, all my equipment is hidden away in a cabinet. I use this to control all my equipment.
