One of my favourite live albums..I know that not everyone likes the Decemberists...but Colin Meloy's words and music resonate with me so much...and they just don't take themselves so seriously.....just have a listen to the mariners revenge...it is absolutely genious if you have a likeness for folk music.

Not an album, but on BBC radio iPlayer atm is The Unthanks sitting in for Iggy Pop on his radio 6 show. Currently listening to it and they are playing lots of nice stuff and recommending albums etc. Thoroughly recommend a listen to this.

Sweet, nice. I really liked that Laura Viers song too. Was a new one on me, I'll be checking out her stuff as a result. I've only listened to about 45 mins so far of the show, looking forward to the rest.
