Hurt Locker
Inglorious Basterds

Platoon is usually on top of most lists but I must admit this movie never really did much for me..

Although not a film, Dunkirk 3 parter is superb. The cinematography is fantastic.

"All The King's Men", starring David Jason about the Sandringham Company in WWI. Very different. Interesting. Sir David should have done more big films, such a huge talent.

Made a mistake with the title: It is called "London Can Take It!"

Cheers for that nodnarb444. I've actually just ordered this.



I first saw this propaganda film on old cine celluloid at the IWM research section a few years ago. Although grainy in quality, I was captivated by it. Hopefully, it'll come before Xmas. This film is also very poignant as my Dad served with Coastal for almost two years, flying the big Sunderland and Catalina flying-boats, protecting the Russian convoys - and PRU.

I've just purchased this film "Man Of War" from the Co-Op Somerfield for £4.00. Not seen it before but looks intriguing.
