Denon 2310 + speakers help needed

Hi All

I will get my Denon in 10 days and now i just have to find speakers to complete my system at this time im thinking about B&W 685 which are well known and Crystal Acoustics TX-T2-12-BL. Which one of those two will be a better choice for me, any suggestions??

THX prices make me laugh.

You get M&K Thx stuff for £3000.00 plus, but them some unknown company, well not that know company such as crystal and tuefuel can offer the THX for £1000.00

Were does the extra £2000.00 come into it?

Plus it says crystal has a base in the UK but the site only lists euro?

I would go B&W

Doing a bit of research and it seems like a brand like tefuel.

Supposidly good speakers but no one wants to do a review on it.

Have not seen any reviews from tefuel or Crystal on this site, but I could be wrong, as just proven... LOL

Those crystals do look nice though.

I would wait for at least 6-12 months before buying anything in euro's as I am sure the pound will get stronger soon.

Crystal got awards from Home Cinema and many other mag

But you cant go and try them.

And if you dont like, they will take them back..... But, you have to pay for postage which can be pricey.

I would do a lot of research before buying. There are 3 speakers that are floating about that seem to be a bargain.

Klipsch, Tefuel and Crystal now as I never heard of them.

The crystals to seem to get ok reviews from other sites.

Has what hifi team heard these speakers? I would like to know as well.

Stick with the known, and UK supported, brands.

If you want to look at something a little better than the B&W 685 I would suggest the Monitor Audio RX6 AV12 package as it saves some speaker stands! I also feel the finish is better and lets be honest you have to look at them as well as hear them!
