That 80,000 times a second really puts it into perspective. They must be amazing amps, especially for Dj hidden type music.
Hi Matt
Your welcome.
Yes, i truly believe Chord Electronics amplifiers are fantastic. The "Conventional Amplifier Design" article on their website gives an excellent explaination of their HF power supplies. A cd like The Later After by DJ Hidden (with its relentless onslaught) is an excellent test for amplifiers and Chord Electronics amplifiers pass this with flying colours. The power delivery is so blistering fast (and controlled) that it is sometimes difficult to keep up (in a positive way) as instruments etc. almost come and go before you know it!
Absolutely brilliant.
I don't say this likely but for me Chord Electronics inspires confidence.
Hi Rick, im thinking of going over to London for a hifi show at the end of march, just need to book the flights. So i will hopefully hear some Chord gear there or find my way to a nearby dealer for a listen.

Then keep an eye out for a suitable used amp.
Cheers

Hi Matt
If you look at my last post on your ATC SCM19's thread i offered to point you in the right direction of a suitable amp as i sometimes come across or hear of used/older equipment. The offer still stands and if you are happy with this than please drop me an email with your details and i'll help you as best as i can.
Btw, i also forgot to mention that Chord Electronics HF power supplies are so effective that the quality of the mains does not impede their performance. So, whether the mains voltage is at 90v, 150V or at 240v their amplifiers will sound the same.
