I own 2 Nad 275bee power amps been running them on a 326 intergraded amp.. since that amp has option to run as a preamp.. its much cheaper then buying a dedicated preamp like nad 165bee preamp.. is the sound quality much better on the preamp.. then the intergraded used as a preamp.. they both be separates

Welcome....

Purely based on my own experience, to a hear a real noticeable improvement a dedicated preamp is the way to go. When I had a Arcam integrated I tried out a sibling power amp. The only improvement, subtle, was midrange detail.

Your I integrated amp was around £300 when it came out, the preamp you are looking at is nearly £1000.
I think I would say that, even if they were the same price, the preamp has had all the money spent to do just one job well so in this case would be a better buy.

yea I picked up the Nad 165 replaced my 326.. I can hear a difference brighter Mids.. stronger voice.. seems Much richer in sound period. not that the 326 was horrible .. but this is a nice upgrade.. I did get it used @ $700 Canadian.. saved like $800+ now need to sell the 326.. now to work on a good powered sub to go with my system
