i have had mine a couple off years and i still think at £99.95 its worth every penny
i use it through a passive pre-amp into musical fidelity mono power amps
and it sound brilliant
i also paid only £60 for my 640p a cute little phono amp too boot

Sorry about the price increase, this has been forced on us by the 35% shift in the value of the £ against the US dollar. That said we have fully tested other phono pre-amps from the likes of Creek, Pro-ject and Primare against our 640P and are confident that at £99 it is cheap for the quality of the components and design implemented and definitely still offers class-leading value. Others are rising in price too, it's not just us who are affected, the weak £ is affecting absolutely everyone who makes their product or sub-assemblies (ie PCBs or other parts that are then "assembled" into finished products in the UK) in the Far East
