Audiolab is ditching DTS PlayFi with its own platform. But they should have waited a bit longer to release the 7000n streamer with this new platform. They shot themselves in the foot there.

Will a future software update enable 7000N and 6000N models to switch to the new platform? Will DTS eventually remove Audiolab/IAG's license? This news leaves crucial questions to be answered.

DTS PlayFi is bad on the Windows platform and the chap at Phorus support advised there will be no further updates for this platform. I no longer use this app on any of my Windows 10/11 systems.

I do use the app very rarely on my phone and it seems more stable and I can also update the firmware/app on my Audiolab Omnia, via the phone.

I would choose BluOS next time.

Where does warranty come into it?
