Anyone using their home power sockets to deliver audio to other rooms?

er...sorry but I worked out that this solution is only PC to HiFi...useless for my purposes...I want to send audio from hi-fi to remote speakers via ethernet, wireless or power network

Hi, I suppose that a solution 'from hif-fi to remote speakers' is going to be via long speaker cable. If you specifically want to do it via ethernet, wireless or power network, then you're looking at a server of some sort- could be pc, nas-drive, PS3, internet etc and then amplification at the other end. I'm using a NAS drive wirelessly to a remote PURE radio so probably a bit too simplistic for what you're looking for...
