Amplifier advice for Mission 753

Hi,

I am building my first system and looking to match an amplifier to everything I have so far (original mission 753 floorstanders and a rega planar 2) but the sheer amount of options has left me not knowing what to get?

From what I have found out so far I think that I am looking for something fairly powerful & that wont add too much harshness to the already bright speakers. Amps that I have seen suggested are NAD 3020, Pioneer a400 & Audiolab 8000 but I don’t know how suitable they are for the non freedom version of the 753s

Any ideas? my max budget is £150 & I’m looking for something used

I would look for some Arcam amps such as Arcam 9 which canbe be had for around £150, check out fleabay. I don't NAD 3020 is that powerful? Audiolab maybe a bit bright if your speakers are already bright.

Audiolab 8000C and 8000P worked very nicely when I owned 753's.
