Hi, first post. I received my YAMAHA A-S Mk 2 amp today.
But it is identical to the Mk 1. As the price differance is £800 to £600 i'm suspicious that I may be paranoid, or a fool.
Anyone?

Hi and welcome.

Generally any MK2 of any component is generally subtle at best. The price could be down to a number of factors. The only real way to know is to demo the MK2 alongside your amp.

What about your pre-purchase research Ian?
That would (should) have told you everything.
There will still be MK1 details out there - compare them with MK2 details.....and you'll get your answers 👍

O.K. To put the case to bed, I got in touch with YAMAHA in Wardour St. Who reasured me all was O.K.
Quite right Gray, I don't own a Mk1, but a NAD320bee.
Any thoughts on sound dampening glass doors on cheap shelving cabinets?
Anyone else hear them?
