Which Remote? Want to put kit out of sight

Would appreciate some pointers. I'm looking to put my kit in a wooden cabinet but want to happy to control teh smp, blue ray & SKY HD box.

What would people suggest - would like to avoid an IR eye if possible but can buy any cables, if I have to.

You could look at something like the Logitech Harmony range which uses an RF connection. The 895 will do this.

seconded, just make sure the kit (particularly the amp) is properly vented (perhaps leave the cabinet open at the back).
