Which portable music players can I use Chord Mojo with?

Can I use an IPod Classic gen. 7 with the new Chord Mojo DAC and headphone amp. On the website it says one cannot connect to a 30 pin socket ( on the IPod), but is there not a lead that could achieve this without compromising sound quality?
Also, can one connect a hi-res. player FiioX5 to the Chord Mojo, and ,if so, would it improve the sound quality for a £400 outlay.
Also, is it possible to connect the Audioquest Dragonfly V1.2 DAC Headphone amplifier to an IPod Classic and FiiO X5 via a lead without compromising potential improvements in sound quality?

I think that I have read the answers to your questions on this forum thread. From memory there is a specific cable available for ipods (the link is included in the post), and I think that I have seen the FiioX5 mentioned as well. One of the popular topics seems to be about connecting AK100 and AK120s.
