When will the prices come back down

At the start of the recession it seemed that most HiFi/AV manufacturers (i.e. naim & roksan) put their prices up by quite some margin. I've been holding out on a few purchases, as whenever I read a review and then look at the item in the shop it seems to be at least £100 more expensive.

I've been figuring that at some point the prices will drop back down again, but so far nothing. I just don't like the idea of paying more for a piece of electronics that I could have bought significantly cheaper a year ago. It's supposed to work the other way around damnit []

Is this feeling preventing anyone else from buying too?

Me too but don't hold your breath or too tightly on to your purse strings VAT's about to rise.

There should be some sizeable discounts closer to Christmas......I'm already sensing some deals at "old VAT rates" in January!
