when is channel 4 HD coming?

Hi, Does anybody know when Channel 4 HD is coming? I have Sky HD and heard it would be launched in december, but I have not heard anything more since the announcement earlier this year? Cheers

C4 HD is available NOW on SHy HD. Channel 140.

Last month I read somewhere, that it will not be before late 2009, at the earliest.

Good to see they made such a big fuss of it being available. I think 'Shy HD' is definitely the case here.

I agree with Andrew, there wasn't any advertising for their HD channel what so ever. You'd think as HD is the latest "thing" there would have been something stating it's release. A quick visit to their website (www.channel4 .com) gives you some info.

Could've fooled me - can't find a mention of HD on the C4 site, unless I'm suffering from Monday morning brain in neutral syndrome.

EDIT: Just been down and checked the Sky HD box in one of our listening rooms, and yes, there it is on Channel 140. Not a huge amount of HD content though: Happy Gilmore tonight but that seems to be about it. But Mrs E will be pleased to see that Ugly Betty is in HD from this Friday!

I didn't see it first of all, then I clicked "Digital". http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/D/Digital_TV/4HD.html

I'm amazed as I have not seen it advertised at all.
