For context, I've lived with the ADM9Ts for over a year and the ADM sub for about six months so I think I'm familiar with what they can do. They (the '9Ts) are very clear, smooth, dynamic and precise and would probably kick most of what passes for HiFi into a cocked hat.
The ADM40s are on another level and, played at realistic levels with good recordings (e.g. typical classical material), create a stunningly lifelike soundstage or, to use a popular audiophile term, they're exceptionally "musical".
