Hi all,

There are so many choices, I have at the moment lg 370 br player, This is to go into my daughters playroom,

I am looking for good quality all round,

My local sevonoaks dont deal in sony as they dont like customer service side so as i wanted to demo pioneer and sony this could not be done,

I notice sony is taking br market by storm so should i be looking more at sony? I have always liked 5000es Approx £999 at mo and the pioneer 81 which is old now, How do the new pioneers match up?

I have yamaha rx765( of which one day will also be upgraded) more likely to pioneer

Kef 2005

pioneer 5090h

I have started br collaction but do have alot of dvd aswell

Look forward to all help

Thanks

This is a very difficult choice Sony vs Pioneer benefits for both with you already having a Pioneer tv. If it was my money i would not spend more than £400 on a blu-ray player at the moment with newer models to come early spring. The Sony 760 would be my choice and then i would put the money towards upgrading your av system. And when i had a lot of films and the next generation of players where out look then, you won't loose as much money when you resell or even move player to another room. The Sony has many qualities taken from the 5000es and is a good step up from the PS3 and 360 and not far behind the 5000es. So really it's upto to get a demo as £600 pounds is a big difference.
