I love Mogwai, and yep, MFMK is indeed excellent. I saw them live at Manchester Acadamy a few years ago, and they were fantastic. Pity some stupid woman near me kept talking in the quiiet bits!
You really should listen to A century ends too... Quite a brilliant, emotional, and fairly angry album.

Currently, a couple of Decemeberists albums, Castaways and Cutouts and Her Majesty the Decemberists.
Not that they're hugely popular, but I'm still strangely miffed that more and more people have heard of them now. They're one of the few bands I've been keen on early enough to feel like they were my little secret.
For reviews purposes I've been listening to Miranda Barber and The Script, keep your eyes on The Leisure Lab next week for reviews of both of them.
Last week's music reviews were Donkey by CSS and Replica Sun Machine by The Shortwave Set.
Both of which were good, but for my tastes not quite as good as The Slip

I haven't listened to anything by Maeror Tri for a while, I'd forgotten how their wonderful music just makes you drop whatever you are doing...
