Aaah, The Mars Volta. Quite heavy going but undoubtedly skillful stuff. Liked Omar and Cedric's previous outing At The Drive In and was fortunate enough to catch them live (supported by the great Murder City Devils) - excellent gig. The other ATDI off-shoot Sparta are also pretty damn good.

Borrowed this out of library where CD loans cost 69p. I have been a bit naughty and imported 'Let's See Action' and my absolute favourite 'Join Together'. The Who released a number of tracks as singles that were not on the main albums, very irritating and those two tracks were not on any other best of that I could find. They have been added to the best of I do have.

Yup, got that one and No Roots, Outrospective, Sunday 8pm (favourite) and To All New Arrivals. My favourite band at the moment are Tortoise and I have been listening to this....................

The who's 2cd Ultimate Collection has I'm sure (I've not got it in front of me so apologies if I'm wrong) has got both the tracks you mention and any many other fine tracks - my personal favourite Who song has to be You Better You Bet. It's also a fine remaster. Great songs, great sound from one of the world's great bands.

Try this one ; My Generation - The Very Best of the Who on Amazon from £3.04, has the tracks you want, and is a brilliant listen.

Thanks nandjg and gwynne61, both tracks are there, but are not on my Who's Greatest Hits (which is also more expensive at the moment on Amazon and has way fewer tracks than the other best ofs), hey ho, some you win.......

Streamed off Spotify and not going to buy as it is dull and the single 'Wrong' is repetitive and irritating...........
